Tracy Hamer is an international artist whose work takes a deep dive into the nostalgia of the 50s and 60s, using retro imagery to depict subjects in stylistic poses, classic bikinis, and sun-soaked holiday vibes. But beneath the polished surface lies an undercurrent of subversion, as she masterfully reveals the raw, unguarded glances that betray the curated facades. Inspired by her travels and the way people present themselves to the world, she captures the tension between image and reality, offering a provocative take on the iconic imagery of a bygone era.
